I.A. LIABILITY WAIVER: All riders shall sign a liability waiver before being allowed
to participate in the event.

The entrant and/or rider, in signing the entry form for the event, elects to use the track at their own risk, and thereby releases and forever discharges the organizers, together with their heirs, assigns, officers, representatives, agents, employees,
and participants from all liability from injury to person, property, employees and/or reputation, that may be received by said entrant and/or rider, and from all claims of said injuries to parties listed above growing out of it, or resulting from the event contemplated under the entry form, or caused by any construction or condition of the course over which the event is held.

  II.  JUDGING AND CRITERIA

Judges in their assigned duties must be familiar with all judging criteria

II.A. PANEL :  A panel of five judges will be appointed by the Organizers to score the competitors on the following criteria on equal weight

II.A.1.    TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY:  The rider shows mastery over basic longboard dancing tricks.  The tricks are executed without hesitation and continuously.  The rider maintains control over his board at all times.

II.A.2      ORIGINALITY AND DIFFICULTY: This criterion focuses on the difficulty of individual tricks of the rider as well as the difficulty of chosen combinations.   Tricks that are not landed do not count for scoring purposes on this category.  Showing a command of the various disciplines in Freestyle (flips, off board moves, slides and manuals) will attract a premium.

II.A.3      STYLE: The rider puts together a cohesive routine from start to finish that is both dynamic and artistic, fully utilizing the potential of his Longboard and the venue.

II.B. SCORING:  A routine may earn a maximum of 10 points, with increments of one-tenth (1/10th) of a point.   The scores of all judges are then averaged for the final aggregate score for the run.

II.C. STARTER:   The starter ensures that all competitors are present at the starting area and gives the competitor the signal to commence his run (upon completion of the preceding run).

II.D. COMPETITOR NUMBERS:   All competitors are required to wear their assigned numbers in plain view of the judges during the competition.  Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
